Dozens of food in Festival of the arts

Festival of the arts. Festival of the Arts is a free three-day community event that highlights various stages of performances, a juried Regional Arts Exhibition, also dozens of food booths operated by non-profit organizations. Plus, creative activities for kids and adults to enjoy making their art as well as buying art from West Michigan artists. Every buying at Festival from food to art to t-shirts and posters returns to the West Michigan community.

This year’s campus-wide celebration of every things art (aka FoTA) runs April 5-9 and includes a multitude of disciplines also art forms – from dance to theater to shows to music, and even film, writing, also philosophy.

The traditional U-Create! And Thursday, April 6. Placed at Seventh and S streets, this union street fair and arts showcase features live music, dance performances, also interactive offerings created by teams of students or faculty. There are lots to eat from Off the Grid food trucks, and venues add the Verge Center for the Arts, and the Axis Gallery and Beatnik Studios. The entertainment runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Entrance to U-Create! also the galleries are free.

Family Sunday Funday maintains its tradition of offering activities for every age from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 9. Attractions add games, entertainment, and hands-on art projects spread out over the campus.
